Hi! I’m Amanda. Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet!

I’m a busy mom of three: Jordan is 4, Miles is 2 and our little Harper just turned 1. I am married to the hardest working man I’ve ever met and he is nothing short of my daily inspiration to just keep swimming. We have lived in the Tampa Bay area the past 10 years and recently moved back home to Illinois – and for the first time {in a very long time}, I feel like we’re finally living life and not just waiting for the next best thing to come along.

The past few years we lived in Florida, we were Disney Annual Passholders and went ALL. THE. TIME. It didn’t matter if it was peak-season, 9,000 degrees or monsoon-like raining; if we had a free Saturday, you could bet your left arm you would find us at the most magical place on Earth! Lucky for me, my husband loves going as much as I do and has the patience of a Saint to endure everything a day at Disney entails. Now, since making our 1,000 mile move, our weekends are spent at the park, the zoo or taking daytrips to visit family and friends.

I love reality TV, cooking, trying all kinds of new products (I’m a sucker for fun packaging and good marketing!), Moscow Mules, celebrity-hosted podcasts, date nights, donuts, and throwing parties. My husband hates that I fall asleep every time we try watching a movie and that I want Greek food every time we order out. He supports {just about} every crazy plan I come up with, and loves my spontaneity…seriously – that’s the word he uses to describe me. No one was more shocked than I! My kids are, hands-down, the three BEST things that have ever happened to me and watching them develop their own personalities and grow their relationships with one another has been the most gratifying aspect of this journey with them so far. But, just like every other mom out there, it’s a daily struggle for me to keep that “non-mom” identity at an arm’s reach. Yes, I want to be the best  mom to them, but I also want to be a good wife, a good friend, a good sister and a good daughter – and it’s not always easy. We wear so many hats!

So that’s a little about me. I hope you enjoy following along on this crazy ride with me. I’d LOVE to hear from you – feel free to drop a note any time!
